Ingredients:
- Paneer ( Cottage Cheese) - 400 grms ( cut into squares)
- Tomatoes - 8 ( peel off the tomatoes for making puree)
- Onions - 2 medium size
- Cashews - 1 small cup
- Butter - 3 tsp
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Red chili Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - As per taste
- Kasuri Methi Powder (Fenugreek leaves) - 2 tsp
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1/3 tsp
- Creame (or) Milk - 1/2 cup
Preparation :
- Fry Cashews, Onions and tomatoes in a pan with 1 tsp of oil.
- Make a fine paste of these three ingredients and keep it aside.
- In a pan heat 3 tsp of butter and 1 tsp of oil.
- Add Ginger garlic paste and red chili powder and fry it for 30 seconds.
- Now add the above tomato, onion and cashews puree to this.
- Add Salt and stir well and cover it with a lid and cook for 5 mins.
- Add Dry roasted the Kasuri Methi (make it powder), Garam Masala, Cardamom powder and Sugar.
- Now you add the paneer pieces ( cottage cheese) into the gravy and add creme or little bit milk to it and saute it well. Remove the flame after 2 minutes.
